New Publication: "Of Zeros and Ones"

With "Of Zeros and Ones: Choices That Shape the Zero Carbon and Digital City of Tomorrow" we contributed an exploratory, future-oriented article to the publication "Digital Science. Researching New Technologies in Urban Environments" (publisher: Jovis). Tracing the steps of the three stereotypical characters of the student Ann, working mom Karen, and businessmen Stefan through the future city of Hamburg, we point out their different perspectives of the city - and the choices they can make to reduce their footprint, living sustainably.

The work evolved on the basis of the conference "City Science Summit" (2019), a collaboration between CityScienceLab and MIT Media Lab. Have a look at the preview here!
