Conference proceedings: "Urban cycling laws in Egypt"

Egypt is matching the global direction of investment in cycling infrastructure. However, these efforts so far did not include needed advances in cycling laws and regulations. "Potential and Current State of Urban Cycling Laws in Egypt" is a research work that analyses the legal infrastructure for transport cycling in Egypt.

It was published open access by the Urban Law Center at Fordham University as a part of the 7th annual International and Comparative Urban Law Conference Proceedings. Its authors are Ahmed Tarek Alahwal of our Urban Footprints Project (UFP), along with TU Berlin's scholar Omar Aboutaleb.
