Publication: It’s not enough to be right!

Why is it so difficult to politically pursue the goal of a deep decarbonization of the global economy, despite its support from science and society? The scientific article "It’s not enough to be right! The climate crisis, power, and the climate movement” addresses this important question with a focus on the German context. The article has now been published open access within the inter- and transdisciplinary journal GAIA - Ecological Perspectives for Science and Society. 

The authors - among them Jun.-Prof. Dr. Cathrin Zengerling - explain the social factors influencing climate activists’ capacity to accelerate the practical implementation of knowledge and decisions, making suggestions as to how the climate movement can constructively integrate them into its actions.
