Earth System Governance Conference presentation: "Cycling Infrastructure Justice in Egypt"
"Benefits, recognition, and distribution in Egypt's cycling infrastructure projects" is a work-in-progress paper that studies cycling infrastructure in Egypt. The justice analysis of recent cycling infrastructure reveals patterns of identities, biases, and rationales related to urban cycling that present obstacles to accessibility and environmental benefits of cycling infrastructure.
UFP member Ahmed Tarek Alahwal authored the unpublished paper and presented it at the Toronto 2022 Earth System Governance Conference.
