Publication: chapter "Kommunale Klimaschutzplanung" as part of edited book “Handbuch Klimaschutzrecht”

Jun.-Prof. Dr. Cathrin Zengerling contributed to the edited book “Handbuch Klimaschutzrecht”, recently published by Beck, with a chapter titled “Kommunale Klimaschutzplanung“. 

The book is a valuable new publication on climate protection law. At the end of 2019, the federal government was the first government in the world to set its national climate protection target as binding in a climate protection law. The law came into force on December 18th, 2019 and was amended by the law of August 18th, 2021. This work provides a general overview of the newly established legal area of ​​climate protection law and is designed as a handbook for science and practice. It is intended to offer answers to practically relevant questions of an interdisciplinary and international legal subject and also to point out legal-political solutions.
